Why didn’t we just add straight Vitamin C (ascorbic acid)?
We chose to source our Vitamin C from locally sourced plants such as Davidson Plum, Finger Lime and Kakadu Plum because not only is it better for the environment - it is better for your skin!
ㅤ
Kakadu Plum - Identified as the world's richest source of Vitamin C. These plums contain approximately 3000mg of Vitamin C per 100g of fruit! This is more than 75 times the amount found in other citrus fruits.
Davidson Plum - Loaded full of powerful bio-active phytonutrients including Tartaric Acid, Anthocyanin, Gallic Acid, Flavone Glycoside, Flavonone and Quercetin. With very strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties it improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, promotes skin elasticity through enhanced collagen and elastin production. Tartaric Acid behaves like an AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid) and has the ability to strengthen the skin, reduce redness and clears pore blockages, anti-acne activity, brightening and pigmentation reduction.

Finger Lime - Have tiny juice pearls that release a range of potent phyto-active compounds including natural Vitamin C. Finger Lime pearls help to heal acne, premature skin ageing caused by too much sun, ichthyosis, psoriasis, rosacea, and has the ability to help with uneven skin pigmentation. Harvested from a delicate rainforest tree native to the Northern Rivers region of NSW, Australia, Finger Lime also assists in reducing oil build-up, acne, wrinkle and uneven skin tone.
Why Vitamin E & Omega is important for great skin…
ㅤ
Like Vitamin C, Vitamin E is an antioxidant. Its main function in skin care is to protect against sun damage. Vitamin E also assists in softening the appearance of post-blemish markings on the skin, and can be used before any invasive procedures to assist the healing process.
ㅤ
Cucumber Oil - Rich in linoleic acid (part of the Omega 6 family), Vitamin E, and other nutrients. Cucumber Seed Oil is an excellent anti-ager, keeping the skin's protective barrier strong and improving firmness and elasticity. Both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, this versatile oil diminishes signs of ageing while promoting cell regeneration. Oleic acid also strengthens the integrity of the cells and helps to heal eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and acne. And it is, of course, a fantastic treatment for the reduction of puffy eyes.
